Montreal Impact, Harry Novillo mutually agree to part ways

Harry Novillo - settles ball - for Impact

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Contract terminated

The Montreal Impact and attacker Harry Novillo have mutually agreed to terminate his contract, the club announced Monday.

Novillo, 27, had one goal and two assists in 11 MLS appearances this season.

"The Impact would like to thank Harry Novillo for his services and wish him good luck," a club statement read.

The move will free an international roster spot, but Novillo's salary charge will remain on Montreal's books for salary cap reasons for the remainder of the season, according to TVA Sports reporter Nicolas A. Martineau.

Novillo was signed to a two-year contract with a team option last December, but failed to produce. He started only once for coach Remi Garde since May 5.
