MLS SuperDraft prospect, Generation adidas signing Robbie Robinson wins Hermann Trophy

Clemson forward and MLS SuperDraft prospect Robbie Robinson was awarded the top individual honor in college soccer, selected as the men's winner of the 2019 Hermann Trophy award.


Robinson, a junior and one of four members of the 2020 Generation adidas class, is the third player in Clemson history to win the award and the first since Wojtek Krakowiak in 1998. He was also ranked the No. 1 prospect in the coming 2020 MLS SuperDraft presented by Adidas by MLSsoccer.com contributor and TopDrawerSoccer director of content Travis Clark

Robinson led the nationin points and tied for the lead in goals with 18 goals in his junior year en route to being named the ACC offensive player of the year. He is the first Clemson player in 21 years to record multiple hat tricks in the same season.


The Tigers reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 College Cup before falling to Stanford on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
