Panama national team head coach Gary Stempel has named his squad for a friendly against Venezuela on September 11 at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, and five MLS players are among the selections.

New York Red Bulls duo Michael Murillo and Fidel Escobar (pictured above), Seattle Sounders defender Roman Torres, San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Anibal Godoy and Columbus Crew SC midfielder Cristian Martinez were called up for the match.

Panama, coming off their first ever World Cup appearance this summer, have recalled seven players from the World Cup squad for this first post-tournament action, with all but Martinez among the group of World Cup debutants from the MLS call-ups.
