MLS players start Black History Month Fact Challenge on social media

THUMB ONLY: Ray Gaddis - Black History Month Fact Challenge

Awareness and education are at the core of Black History Month, and MLS players have taken to social media to increase understanding via the Black History Month Fact Challenge.

Philadelphia Union outside back Raymon Gaddis kicked things off last week with a video, then others joined in by using the hashtag #BHMFactChallenge.

Check out their thoughts below as the league-wide initiative spreads knowledge around Black History Month and its meaning. The collection includes LAFC midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye, Black Players for Change executive board member Justin Morrow as well as former US men's national team players Maurice Edu and Oguchi Onyewu.
