MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends Chris Rolfe, Kekuta Manneh

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has handed down suspensions and fines to two players and has fined two others after Week 9 of the 2016 season.


Suspension: Rolfe foul on LaBrocca



The Disciplinary Committee has fined and suspended D.C. United forward Chris Rolfe one game for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent on a tackle against midfielder Nick LaBrocca in the 46th minute of D.C.'s 1-1 draw with the Chicago Fire on Saturday. Rolfe will serve the suspension during Sunday's match against New York City FC.


Suspension: Manneh foul on Bravo



The Disciplinary Committee has fined and suspended Vancouver Whitecaps striker Kekuta Manneh one game for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent on a foul on Federico Bravo in the 68th minute of the Whitecaps' 3-2 loss to New York City on Saturday. Manneh will serve the suspension during Saturday's match against the Portland Timbers.


Fine: Van Damme, Dos Santos confrontation



LA Galaxy striker Giovani Dos Santos and defender Jelle Van Damme each have been fined an undisclosed amount by the Disciplinary Committee for violation of the mass confrontation policy, for escalating an incident in the 70th minute of LA's 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday.
