Sporting KC got just the attacking spark they needed from one of their most trusted defenders when Aurelien Collin headed in the equalizer against Real Salt Lake in the 76th minute.
Off a corner kick from Graham Zusi, Collin got the better of Chris Schuler and nodded the ball to the far post, leaving RSL no chance to make the save and providing a huge lift to the worried crowd at Sporting Park.
