MLS announces Fox Soccer Channel schedule

NEW YORK - Major League Soccer and Fox Soccer Channel finalized today the national broadcast schedule for the League's 10th Season. The 2005 season marks the third consecutive year that Fox Soccer Channel will carry live telecasts nationally from the premier soccer league in the United States. The channel will broadcast more than 30 regular season games as well as a selection of playoff matches.


Each MLS team will be featured at least once throughout the season. Freddy Adu and D.C. United join Taylor Twellman and the New England Revolution in leading the way with nine broadcasts each. Landon Donovan and the Los Angeles Galaxy will be featured on seven occasions while Eddie Johnson and his FC Dallas squad appear six times throughout the year.


MLS Wrap, the weekly show highlighting the weekend of MLS action returns for the third season on Fox Soccer Channel. Fans can catch MLS Wrap on Saturday nights at midnight throughout the 2005 season.
