TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Extension
One of their own.
Minnesota United FC have signed defender and Minnesota native Brent Kallman to a contract extension, the club announced Tuesday.
“I’m proud to have signed an extension with MNUFC,” said Kallman. “It is an exciting time for the club as we kick off our third MLS season in a beautiful new Allianz Field, and I look forward to doing everything I can to help ensure the product on the field is deserving of the incredible support I know we will continue to receive. COYL!”
Kallman, 28, has been with the club since 2013, back in their NASL days. Over the club's first two seasons in MLS, Kallman has made 47 appearances. He scored two goals last season while splitting time at center back with Francisco Calvo and Michael Boxall.
