CARSON, CA - The Los Angeles Galaxy are now selling tickets on the grass berm in the North end of The Home Depot Center for this Sunday's 7 pm match against the San Jose Earthquakes, the club announced today.
In addition to the Galaxy's annual Fourth of July match, the explosive evening of entertainment this Sunday will also feature a pre-game concert by Cuban-American music sensation Franky Perez and Southern California's largest fireworks show after the match.
"Southern California soccer fans have once again responded to our annual Fourth of July tradition in great fashion," said Galaxy President and General Manager Doug Hamilton. "Opening the berm gives those who have not yet purchased tickets their best chance to come and see the game and the best fireworks in the Southland."
Tickets on the berm cost $20 and are being sold on a limited-availability, first come-first served basis. Due to the nature of the seating area, there will be open seating in this section.
For the first time in club history, the Galaxy will also be selling a limited number of field-side VIP tickets for Sunday's match. The special tickets, just feet from the playing field, cost $100 apiece. The Los Angeles Galaxy will host the largest fireworks show in Southern California after their match on the Fourth of July against the San Jose Earthquakes at The Home Depot Center in Carson.
