The LA Galaxy have re-signed midfielder Servando Carrasco, the club announced Wednesday. The 30-year-old had a pair of assists in 19 appearances last year, including 10 starts.

“We are pleased to come to terms with Servando on a new contract,” LA Galaxy manager Dennis te Kloese said in a statement. “His extensive MLS experience and knowledge of our team and organization will add a good layer of depth to our roster.”

Carrasco, whose option was declined following the 2018 season, is about to embark on his 11th MLS season. He’s previously played for Orlando City SC, Sporting Kansas City, the Houston Dynamo and Seattle Sounders FC after being selected No. 27 overall in the 2011 SuperDraft.
