L.A. Galaxy present second clinic in their community-based series on Sunday

CARSON, CA - The Los Angeles Galaxy will host the second of their eight community-based clinics of 2005 this Sunday, April 24 on the campus of the University of California - Riverside. The previous clinic was held on March 23 at East Los Angeles College.

The event, which kicks off at 1 pm, will feature the participation of 100-150 pre-selected youth soccer players from Riverside and the surrounding area who would not ordinarily have the opportunity to participate in such an event. Galaxy Director of Coaching Programs Ralph Perez, who also was an assistant on the U.S. team that played in FIFA World Cup Italia 1990, will lead the clinic.

Thanks to Galaxy Spanish Language radio partner RadioVisa 830am KMXE, all the participants will receive two tickets to the Galaxy's April 30 home game against FC Dallas at The Home Depot Center.

The entire Los Angeles Galaxy 2005 Community Clinic series is sponsored by Kohl's and NikeGO, who will each provide the children with a gift as well.

NikeGO is Nike's signature U.S. community affairs initiative and the company's long-term commitment to getting kids more physically active. The program's mission is to increase physical activity in youths, offering them the support and motivation to become physically active, stay healthy and have fun.

Kohl's is a proud sponsor of the 2005 LA Galaxy. Whether you're outfitting your team for summer or back to school, Kohl's fits your family with more brands, styles, and sizes to keep everyone in the game. Kohl's. Expect Great Things!
