LA Galaxy hold drive-in watch party at Rose Bowl for MLS is Back Tournament

LA Galaxy - drive in - movie theater

It wouldn’t be Hollywood without a show on the big screen.

The LA Galaxy turned the Rose Bowl parking lot into a drive-in movie theater on Monday night, drawing fans in socially-distanced fashion to watch their Group F matchup against the Portland Timbers.

It was the first Galaxy game in over four months, and the club made sure it was a special occasion for fans. The games in Orlando are being played without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so clubs are getting creative with events to maintain engagement.

The New England Revolution held a similar event last week, turning the Gillette Stadium turf into a drive-in movie theater.
