New York Red Bulls left back Kemar Lawrence remained out of coach Chris Armas' 18-man squad for Tuesday's first leg of a Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal against Santos Laguna.
Lawrence played 45 minutes of the Red Bulls' first leg of their first-round victory over Atletico Pantoja two weeks ago, but has not has not been on Armas' team sheet in three matches since (including Tuesday).
His 45-minute shift was his first since suffering an MCL injury in the 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs.
