Kacper Przybylko misses Philadelphia Union playoff match vs. RBNY

Kacper Przybylko – Philadelphia Union – heck ya

Kacper Przybylko suffered a foot injury on Decision Day presented by AT&T and, despite a two-week break, he was not able to make it back into the lineup for the Philadelphia Union's Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoff match vs. the New York Red Bulls.

In his stead, head coach Jim Curtin opted to start Andrew Wooten and Sergio Santos up top in a 4-4-2 diamond formation. Wooten made just four starts during the regular season, while Santos had not started a match since June 26.

On the other side, Chris Armas turned to Rece Buckmaster at right back with Kyle Duncan still nursing an injury he picked up on Decision Day. The rookie had not played since September 15. Tom Barlow, who scored in the Red Bulls' 2-0 win over the Union at Red Bull Arena Sept. 22, gets the nod up front.

Ultimately Przybylko's absence did not affect the Union as they beat RBNY 4-3 to earn the first playoff win in Union history.
