Julian Green scores hat trick for Bayern Munich in friendly vs. Inter Milan

US international Julian Green is looking to turn the head of new Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti, and it looks like he accomplished his goal on Saturday.

Green, a Bayern Munich youth product who has been seeking to break through to the reigning Bundesliga champions' first team full time, scored a first-half hat trick in a 4-1 preseason friendly win over Inter Milan in Charlotte.

The 21-year-old scored his first just seven minutes in, as he made a run to goal as David Alaba's cross came in, and finished neatly to put Bayern up 1-0.

His second came at the half-hour mark, as he and Franck Ribery were pushed up into Inter's half and pounced on a poor play by an Inter defender to take a breakaway, with Ribery feeding Green, and the American providing a nice finish.

And he capped it off five minutes later by one-timing Rafinha's cross to make it three for the day.

While Green will surely use the good showing to push to stay in Ancelotti's plans, some are celebrating his accomplishments in creative ways.
