Jolley, Henderson to participate in Soccer for Peace fundraiser

SECAUCUS, N.J. - Red Bull New York is proud to announce that two Red Bulls, defender Steve Jolley and midfielder Chris Henderson, will participate in the "Get Your Kicks" fundraiser hosted by the Soccer for Peace organization. The dinner event will be held Wednesday, May 31 at the West Side Loft in New York City. Some 500 guests will gather for dinner and dancing with chances to win a wealth of prizes including trips, celebrity engagements, signed memorabilia, and luxury goods.

"Get Your Kicks" aims to raise $75,000 for Camp Coexistence 2006- an overnight program, to be held beginning on July 9 in Israel, consists of intense soccer training, dialogue workshops, and other activities common to soccer camp.

"Soccer for Peace benefits a tremendous cause and I am truly happy to be a part of it," said Jolley. "May 31 will be a great evening and we are asking everybody in the community to support the organization in any way they can."

Soccer for Peace was founded in 2002 and advocates sport as both a metaphor and vehicle for peace. The New York based non-profit organization aims to unite children of war-torn nations through their love of soccer. Playing on mixed teams, children quickly (and organically) overcome barriers such as religion, ethnicity and even language.

Guests of honor at "Get Your Kicks" include American soccer icon and Red Bulls television broadcaster Shep Messing as well as his co-host on MSG's Soccer Report and winner of CBS' Survivor: Africa, Ethan Zohn. Sunil Galati, the president of the United States Soccer Federation, will also be in attendance.
