Real Salt Lake head coach Jeff Cassar created a conversation topic Saturday, thanks to his unconventional choice of coaching outfit for MLS Opening Weekend. Sure it was a bit chilly on a crisp Utah afternoon, but the shades of Ron Burgundy rang strong.
In his post-game conference, Cassar acknowledged the sweater: "To be honest, my wife dressed me today."
He offered additional assurances that Real Monarchs head man Mike Petke had no hand in getting him to wear the sweater. And with that, the Peanut Gallery:
