It was his first MLS goal, a late match winner and now it’s also the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 16 of the 2020 season.

Gonzalo Higuain’s free kick golazo, which lifted Inter Miami CF to a come-from-behind win over the New York Red Bulls, took home the award, garnering 39.74 percent of the vote.

No stranger to Goal of the Week honors, Portland’s ageless wonder Diego Valeri was second with 29.24 percent for a back-post chip in a 6-3 victory over the LA Galaxy.

Alejandro Bedoya’s volley from the edge of the 18-yard box off a cross-the-box pass from Brenden Aaronson finished third with 16.58 percent of the vote, followed by Jeremy Ebobisse (10.6) and Julian Araujo (3.83) of the Galaxy.
