In their first-ever meeting, both teams are hoping to rebound from losses in Kingston, as Honduras fell to host Jamaica, 3-2, while Curacao dropped a 1-0 decision to El Salvador.

Honduras twice rallied from two-goal deficits, but fell to host Jamaica, 3-2, in their Group C opener in Kingston Monday night.

Dever Orgill struck for a first-half brace to give the Reggae Boyz a 2-0 halftime lead, but Honduras got back into the match in the 54th minute when Elis stripped Shaun Francis and played across to Choco Lozano, who hammered home. Any momentum Los Catrachos gained, though, was lost two minutes later when Damion Lowe split a pair of defenders to head in Peter-Lee Vassell's corner kick. Honduras made things interesting late when Rubilio Castillo struck in second-half stoppage time, but they were unable to find the equalizer.

Curacao couldn't capitalize on first-half opportunities and paid for a defensive miscue in a 1-0 loss to El Salvador at the National Stadium in Kingston Monday.

Curacao’s best chances of the first half came off set pieces to the head of Leandro Bacuna, but the midfielder put a looping header over the bar in the 30th minute and then nodded wide after a short corner kick from Gevaro Nepomuceno. In first-half stoppage time, Oscar Ceren received a long diagonal ball, turned toward the net and played to Nelson Bonilla. The ball took a slight deflection off Curacao defender Cuco Martina’s foot and fell right to Bonilla, who fired low and inside the far post for the game's lone goal.
