Graham Zusi surprises terminally ill Sporting KC fan

Graham Zusi, Sporting KC - Thephayonh “Lee” Promsenmuong

Sporting Kansas City star Graham Zusi has a long history of performing charitable acts. Just ask Mexico fans, who still refer to him as "San Zusi" after his inadvertent contribution to El Tri's 2014 World Cup qualification bid.

On Thursday, "San Zusi" struck again. He made a surprise visit to a terminally ill Sporting fan named Thephayonh “Lee” Promsenmuong, delivering a personalized jersey and tickets to the club's home opener on March 12 vs. the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Lee, 63, who suffered a heart attack three months ago, has been a diehard SKC fan since the club launched back in 1996 and still frequents the pregame tailgates. His favorite player is, of course, Zusi. And after this visit, that isn't going to change very soon.
