The Dynamo have some added muscle for the first leg of the upcoming CONCACAF Champions' Cup semifinal against Mexico's Pachuca.
Houston businessman Jim McIngvale has agreed to make his Gallery Furniture the title sponsor for Wednesday's game. McIngvale has been a longtime supporter of major sports and marquee sporting events in Houston, and attaching his considerable marketing muscle is a natural fit.
"We're excited about sponsoring this," said McIngvale. "I'm a big Dynamo fan and they're going to beat Pachuca. With all the growing interest, this should be a heck of a game."
Wednesday's match will now be billed as The CONCACAF Champions Cup, presented by Gallery Furniture.
