Three MLS players have been called into duty by Venezuela for its upcoming friendly against Colombia.

Winger Jefferson Savarino (Real Salt Lake), defender Rolf Feltscher (LA Galaxy), and midfielders Junior Moreno (D.C. United) and Renzo Zambrano (Portland Timbers) were all named to Venezuela's 23-man side for the match, which will take place on Sept. 10 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Savarino, 22, is in the midst of a solid campaign for RSL that has seen him bag seven goals and five assists in 22 matches coming off his seven-goal, 11-assist campaign in 2018. He has nine senior caps for Venezuela to date, scoring his first career international goal in 2-0 friendly victory over the United States on June 9, 2019.

The 28-year-old Feltscher has started 34 games over the last two seasons for the Galaxy, scoring two goals and racking up five assists from his fullback spot. He has 19 caps for Venezuela since making his international debut in 2011.

Moreno has emerged as a staple for D.C. over the past two seasons, starting 41 of his 44 appearances while bagging five assists. The 26-year-old has picked up 14 caps, seeing action in World Cup qualifying matches and the Copa Libertadores.

Zambrano has made eight league appearances for Portland side this season, and recently contributed his first assist in a 4-0 win over the Galaxy. He's in his first year with the Timbers after signing from Portland's USL T2 squad.
