FC Dallas

FC Dallas have played an amateur adult team and a college side so far in preseason under new head coach Luchi Gonzalez, and will ramp up the intensity with Saturday's matches.

2018 breakout star Reggie Cannon joined camp this week after being part the US national team training camp. The defender is eager to get in the action with his club.

"I’m really excited to see what Luchi can do and I think he’s going to take this team places that they’ve never gone before," Cannon said to the club's website. "Look at the personnel and the locker room and we have a great group of guys, so I think it’s going to be a very interesting year and it’s really nostalgic to have Luchi coaching me again from the academy days."

San Antonio FC

The preseason friendly continues the annual trend of FCD playing San Antonio. SAFC are looking to bounce back after a 2018 season that didn't go quite as they hoped, as they finished 9th in the USL Championship Western Conference, just outside the playoff spots. Continuing under head coach Darren Powell, San Antonio FC have several players with MLS experience on their roster, including Joshua Yaro, Jack Barmby, and Michael Lahoud.
