FC Cincinnati announce remaining roster decisions on Etienne, Lasso and more

Derrick Etienne Jr. with FC Cincinnati

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Roster Update

After making most of their roster decisions a few weeks ago, FC Cincinnati announced their remaining four roster decisions on Thursday.

The club declined Forrest Lasso's contract option as well as the purchase option on Derrick Etienne Jr.'s loan. Cincy picked up the contract options on Logan Gdula and Hassan Ndam.

Lasso, a standout during the club's time in USL, made five appearances in MLS before being loaned to Nashville SC. Etienne Jr. was signed on loan from the Red Bulls in August but played only 219 minutes for Cincy, with no goals and no assists.

Neither Gdula, 23, nor Ndam, 21, made their Cincinnati debuts in 2019. Gdula was selected No. 13 overall in the 2019 MLS Superdraft while Ndam was selected in the Expansion Draft.

FC Cincinnati's 2020 roster currently stands at 24 players.
