Juan Jose Romero has been named LA Galaxy goalkeeper coach, rejoining Guillermo Barros Schelotto after spending two and a half years on his staff at Boca Juniors, the club announced Wednesday.
The 39-year-old also worked with the Argentine national team, ending his four years with La Albiceleste after a runner-up final in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He joins assistant coach Ariel Pereyra and fitness coach Javier Valdecantos, who also arrive from Boca Juniors, as part of Schelotto's already announced staff.
