Dynamo re-sign Erik Ustruck

HOUSTON, TX --
The Houston Dynamo have re-signed midfielder Erik Ustruck to a developmental contract, the club announced Thursday.

Ustruck, 24, has seen first-team action in the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He played in every reserve game over the last two seasons for the Dynamo, helping the club to the 2008 MLS Reserve Division championship while notching one goal and four assists.

A St. Louis native who played college soccer at Santa Clara University, Ustruck will occupy a senior developmental slot on the Dynamo's roster, the fourth and final developmental player.
