Two teams on opposite ends of the Eastern Conference standings meet at Audi Field on Sunday afternoon, as D.C. United hosts New York City FC.

The Black and Red went 1-0-1 in a busy Week 7, following a 0-0 home draw against the Montreal Impact with a 3-2 victory at the Colorado Rapids. NYCFC helped open Allianz Field and, thanks to an Ismael Tajouri-Shradi brace, left with a share of the spoils from a 3-3 draw with Minnesota United. Their first win of the season remained out of grasp.

The clubs have met just once at Audi Field, with D.C. winning 3-1 and clinching a berth in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs. In the first meeting this season, they played to a 0-0 draw at Yankee Stadium as goalkeepers Sean Johnson and Bill Hamid put forth spectacular efforts.
