TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
D.C. United have signed forward Kimarni Smith, the club announced Monday. Smith was taken with the No. 4 overall pick at the 2021 SuperDraft.
Smith, who turns 23 next week, starred at Clemson University, with 26 goals and 11 assists in 63 appearances (43 starts) from 2017 to 2020. A native of England, Smith will be added to D.C.'s roster with an international roster spot.

The forward adds to the options for new head coach Hernan Losada, joining this winter ahead of his first MLS season. Smith will be another option in attack alongside the likes of Ola Kamara, Yordy Reyna and more.
