It wasn’t the party originally planned, but Major League Soccer’s 30-day suspension of matches to assess the impact of COVID-19, didn’t stop the Beckham family from heading to Inter Miami CF Stadium for an afternoon out.
With Spice Girls music blaring over the PA system, Inter Miami CF owner David Beckham, his wife Victoria (aka Posh Spice) and children Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and Harper Seven stood on the field and took in what was built in such a short amount of time.
Inter Miami CF were scheduled to play Beckham’s former team — the LA Galaxy — in their anticipated home opener. But that is one of 42 matches postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
