Columbus Crew SC's Romain Gall on CONCACAF U-20 Championship Best XI, shares Golden Boot

New Columbus Crew signing Romain Gall in action for US

The US Under-20 national team accomplished their goal on Saturday, as they qualified for the 2015 World Cup in New Zealand. In the process, they also brought home some awards from the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, held in Jamaica.

Columbus Crew SC midfielder Romain Gall was one of two USMNT players to make the tournament Best XI, joining defender Shaquell Moore. The Americans were the only non-finalists to make the Best XI, as the rest of the group comprised Panamanian and Mexican players.

In addition to the Best XI honor, Gall shares the U-20 Championship Golden Boot with Mexico's Hirving Lozano, as they finished the tournament with five goals apiece.

The US also earned some recognition as a group, picking up the Fair Play award for the championship.
