D.C. United and the Colorado Rapids pulled off their second trade of the month on Tuesday, when the clubs announced that Colorado has acquired forward Conor Doyle from United in exchange for a 2017 third-round SuperDraft pick.

D.C. acquired midfielder Marcelo Sarvas from Colorado last week in exchange for Targeted Allocation Money and a conditional 2018 SuperDraft pick.

Doyle, 24, has recorded four goals and one assist in 56 regular season games since joining D.C. in July 2013. He appeared in 25 regular season matches last year, starting 10 and scoring two goals. The former Derby County player added two goals in four CONCACAF Champions League appearances in 2015.

He’s one of six forwards currently on Colorado’s roster, joining Designated Players Shkelzen Gashi and Kevin Doyle, Dominique Badji, Caleb Calvert and Luis Solignac.
