CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA today waived midfielder Mohammed Sethi.
Sethi was signed by Chivas USA to a Developmental Contract on March 2, 2007. The 20-year-old played one Reserve Division match for Chivas USA in 2007, logging 44 minutes.
The move opens up a spot on Chivas USA's Developmental Roster. Chivas USA now has two spots available on its 28-man roster: one Developmental slot and one Senior Roster slot.
Chivas USA (6-5-3, 21 pts) returns home to face Boca Juniors legend Guillermo Barros Schelotto and the Columbus Crew (5-4-7, 22 pts) at The Home Depot Center this Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. PT (TV: HDNet; Radio: KTNQ 1020 AM; Pregame show starts @ 7:00 p.m. PT on KTNQ).
