We start this post with a preface. We love Miguel Herrera, everything about him. His theatrics, the sideline antics, the demonstrative celebrations and remonstrations, his sense of style. All of it.
We look forward to a day when he’s manning MLS sidelines with a camera fixed on him throughout a match.
Piojo was at it again Saturday night when his Club America side battled LAFC in a heated Concacaf Champions League semifinal.
Things boiled over at the halftime whistle when Herrera was involve in a scuffle with LAFC assistant coach Ante Razov.

Herrera was ejected as a result of his action and then spent much of the second half with a walkie talkie in hand, giving instructions to the sideline and still trying to exert influence over the match. At one point, match officials had to usher Piojo further up the stands, which were otherwise fan-less because of precautions around the COVID-19 pandemic.
It should come as no surprise then that some clever folks took to social media for come creative Herrera memes.
