CF Montréal will be hosting a free virtual conference on February 25 at 6:30 pm ET with head coach Thierry Henry and his assistant coaches to discuss the impact of Black coaches on young athletes.

The virtual conference, which will be streamed on cfmontreal.com, will be hosted by Fabrice Vil, founder of Pour 3 Points. CF Montreal have also announced a partnership with the non-profit organization to strengthen the club's community and social engagements.

Aside from Henry, assistant coaches Wilfried Nancy, Kwame Ampadu and Patrice Bernier are all slated to participate.

“The fact that the coaching staff of a professional soccer team is made up mostly of black coaches is a strong symbol for youth of all backgrounds throughout society,” Vil said in a release. “Furthermore, many black coaches from different levels support the communities in which they work, and not just at the sporting level. It’s important to recognize that.”

The event is being held as part of Black History Month. The two organizations previously partnered in 2020 to sell T-shirts around the Black Lives Matter campaign, with all proceeds going to Pour 3 Points. The campaign is returning in 2021 with a new T-shirt design that’ll be unveiled Feb. 25.
