CCL - 2018 - Bingo card primary image

It's not an epidemic – not yet anyway – but every year more and more cases are reported, from the frigid Arctic Circle through North America, the Caribbean and Central America all the way to the Darien Gap. Men, women, and children have a fever that no modern physician can cure.

I'm talking, of course, about #CCLFever, a mental (and sometimes physical) condition that predominantly affects soccer fans in the CONCACAF region. Symptoms include watching late-night streams, hoping annually that this will finally be MLS' year, and celebrating often bizarre -- and sometimes unexplainable -- events in and around a soccer field. Full disclosure, I'm infected for life.

A new outbreak begins on Tuesday night when the Round of 16 kicks off with Herediano vs. Tigres UANL (8pm ET | UDN) before the Colorado Rapids and Toronto FC provide an all-MLS nightcap (10 pm ET | TSN2;, and the best treatment is group therapy. To be more specific, I recommend playing #CCLFever bingo with @MLS and bantering on Twitter as the tournament kicks off in Costa Rica and Commerce City, then continues on Wednesday and Thursday.

Given the forecast in Colorado on Tuesday, I think you can go ahead and cross out "Freak Weather" already. Download your board below, use the hashtag to join the conversation on Twitter and share your #CCLFever diagnosis in the comments section below!
