Cannon shares emotional moment with FC Dallas fans after receiving award

After FC Dallas' regular season home finale, FCD supporters' group Dallas Beer Guardians were set to bestow their Player of the Year award to young Homegrown defender Reggie Cannon.

When presented with the accolade, Cannon was overcome by emotion. "You are completely what embodies the spirit of FC Dallas," the supporters told him.

Cannon, 20, started 33 of the team's MLS games as he broke onto the scene, earning his first call-up and cap with the US national team. It was a truly stellar season for the fullback.
