Since its inception, the Audi Goals Drive Progress is designed to provide academy talent with the necessary tools to excel both on and off the pitch. The program directly impacts MLS clubs by contributing funds that expand the breadth of academy resources through contributions toward player education, housing, and transportation.

For every goal scored during the regular season, Audi contributes $500 to the Audi Goals Drive Progress fund.

Throughout the recent MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando, Audi doubled its contributions to $1,000 per goal scored. During the tournament's championship match, Audi upped the ante with every goal scored worth $5,000. In addition, Audi contributed an additional $10,000 to LAFC’s Academy with Diego Rossi finishing as the MLS is Back Tournament Golden Boot winner.

Similarly, as the official sponsor of the regular season Golden Boot Award, Audi will contribute an additional $10,000 to the Golden Boot winner's MLS academy side.

During the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the stakes will be raised even higher: With every goal scored, Audi will contribute $2,000 and during the MLS Cup final, every goal scored is worth $10,000 toward the Audi Goals Drive Progress fund.
