Wild Card Games set for Wednesday, Oct. 22
NEW YORK (Saturday, October 18, 2025) – With Decision Day 2025 in the books, the field for the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs is confirmed, including the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Wild Card matches set to take place on Wednesday, October 22.
Every match in the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs will air on MLS Season Pass and will be made available for free for Apple TV subscribers.
The Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Wild Card Game will feature Chicago Fire FC hosting Orlando City SC at 8:30 p.m. ET this Wednesday night at SeatGeek Stadium.
Also on Wednesday night, the Portland Timbers will host Real Salt Lake in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Wild Card Game at 10:30 p.m. ET at Providence Park.
The winners of each Wild Card match will advance into the Round One Best-of-3 Series and face the top seeds in their respective conference. The Eastern Conference Wild Card winner will face Supporters’ Shield winners and No. 1 seed Philadelphia Union, while the Western Conference Wild Card winner will square off against San Diego FC in the Round One Best-of-3 Series.
The full schedule for Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 Series matches will be announced at a later date.
