AT&T MLS Goal of the Week update: Sporting KC's Graham Zusi surges into lead

AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 31

Power and distance have seized the upper hand in the Week 31 AT&T Goal of the Week race, as Graham Zusi's left-footed rocket leads the field with one day of voting left.

The Sporting Kansas City midfielder's strike paced his team to a 2-0 win over the Chicago Fire, and it enjoys 38.22 percent of the vote as of Thursday morning.

At 19.13 percent, Montreal's Italian maestro Marco Di Vaio is leading the chase to reel in Zusi, followed closely by Kristopher Tyrpak, the Chivas USA youngster whose fine solo dribble was his first-ever MLS goal, at 18.97 percent.

Further back, LA Galaxy winger Stefan Ishizaki and D.C. United striker Fabian Espindola sit at 13.53 and 10.15 percent, respectively.

You've still got time to influence this contest. Who will you choose? Vote now to help determine the winner, which is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
