Alphonso Davies' top speed: Can Stu Holden, Steve Nash match it?

Alphonso Davies running - Bayern Munich

Alphonso Davies is becoming synonymous with the ridiculous Champions League highlight that goes viral. But before his latest filthy assist in Bayern Munich’s shocking 8-2 win over Barcelona, the former Vancouver Whitecaps Homegrown standout did Chelsea dirty.

The Canadian national team star hit speeds of 22 mph (with the ball) on a burst up the left flank before he sent in a pinpoint cross to teammate Robert Lewandowski for an easy point-blank finish en route to a 3-0 first-leg win in February.

Stu Holden and Steve Nash wanted to see if they could match, or more realistically have fun trying to match, Davies’ 22 mph in a DAZN Canada challenge.

And no, they didn’t drive a car.
