All-Star: Forward race promises to be tight, so will Landon Donovan make his 13th appearance?

All-Star Voting: Forwards

Someone has to score the goals, and this is your chance to send MLS All-Star manager Peter Vermes a message about who that should be.

MLS released the list of players eligible for fan voting and opened the ballot box for the 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game on Thursday, and 26 forwards are in the running for the Fan XI. But who gets your vote?

CAST YOUR BALLOT!

Maybe you're a stat junky and all that matters is goals. If so, here's betting two of your votes go to the Philadelphia Union's Jack McInerney and Montreal Impact's Marco Di Vaio, who top the MLS scoring charts with 10 and nine goals apiece.

New York Red Bulls' star Thierry Henry is always a good choice, as is LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane. Landon Donovan is in the running as well, searching for his record 13th All-Star berth. Could any of those favorites be challenged by darkhorses such as the Columbus Crew's Dominic Oduro or Sporting KC's Claudio Bieler?

Whoever you choose, don’t forget that All-Star voting is open on MLSsoccer.com. The time to make your voice heard is, well, now. Fans can also vote by sending a player’s last name via text message to 22442. Twitter voting will occur later this month.

The 10 players with the highest combined votes from these three voting methods, plus one decided via the FIFA Ultimate Team Tournament, will be named to the Fan XI.
