Goal of the Matchday

Adam Jahn's late equalizer wins AT&T MLS Goal of the Week

With teams returning from an international break, there were plenty of goals in Week 5, but fans voted for Adam Jahn's crucial late-game equalizer, which helped the San Jose Earthquakes split points with D.C. United and earns AT&T MLS Goal of the Week honors.

In the 88th minute, Quakes midfielder Shea Salinas seemed to pick out Jahn in the box and sent a long cross his way from the flank. Jahn got a toe on the ball, directing it toward the far post and forcing the draw result.

Jahn beat out Colorado forward Luis Solignac's perfect first touch and cool finish in the final round of voting. Also nominated was a turn-and-shot from Chicago's Kennedy Igboananike and Kaká's one-time strike in Orlando.
