The Colorado Rapids are one of the founding clubs of Major League Soccer and their new “Nine Six” Kit celebrates that 25-year history.
The new home jersey, which still features the club’s burgundy and blue primary colors, will also carry a silver nine-star “Founding Club” mark that will be exclusive to authentic jerseys for MLS’s original clubs.
The other distinctive elements of the Rapids jersey that have been fixtures of recent editions are the Colorado stage flag on the jock tag and the state flag’s “C” on the back neck.
The Rapids will be part of the kickoff match to the 2020 MLS season when they face D.C. United at Audi Field on Saturday, February 29 (1 pm ET).
