Match & Studio Analyst
Phil Neville is a match and studio analyst for MLS on Apple TV. A native of Manchester, England, Neville enjoyed a distinguished playing career spanning nearly two decades, making more than 500 professional appearances for Manchester United and Everton. A product of Manchester United's renowned "Class of '92," he won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, the UEFA Champions League, and numerous other domestic and international honors. Neville also earned 59 caps for England and represented his country at multiple major international tournaments.Â
Following his playing career, Neville transitioned into coaching and broadcasting. He served as head coach for the England Women's National Team from 2018-21 before becoming head coach of Inter Miami CF from 2021-23. He spent three seasons as head coach for the Portland Timbers from 2024-26. Alongside his coaching career, Neville worked as a football commentator and analyst for major broadcasters including Sky Sports and BBC One, contributing coverage of some of the sport's biggest events, including the 2014 FIFA World Cup.Â
Neville joined MLS on Apple TV in 2026, where he contributes match analysis and appears across studio programming, including MLS 360 and MLS Countdown.
