The new-look LA Galaxy battled Jorge Villafana and Santos Laguna to a scoreless home draw in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie on Wednesday night. The team is now looking forward to the challenge of trying to earn their final-four place in Mexico.


RSL Fall Short At Tigres


Real Salt Lake hung in there, and were perhaps even the better side for a while, but eventually suffered a 2-0 loss in their Champions League quarterfinal opener away to Tigres. RSL captain Kyle Beckerman says the team remain confident they can turn things around in the home leg.
