MLS LIVE Game of the Week: Watch Toronto FC open new BMO Field vs. Dallas

MLS LIVE - Game of the Week - TORvDAL

Toronto FC are ready to unveil their new-look home, but have a tough and talented Western Conference foe paying a visit for the much-anticipated debut of the remodeled BMO Field.

Week 10's MLS LIVE Game of the Week, which will be available on MLS LIVE everywhere in the United States, will pit Toronto FC against FC Dallas on Saturday. There are many reasons to watch this intriguing bout, and here are five of the top ones:

NEW DIGS:
After a long road swing to start the season, Toronto FC are finally set to return to a larger, grander BMO Field. A two-phase renovation process for the soccer-specific stadium that was split in two years is finally complete, and TFC and its fans are full of excitement to play at home again.

  • CONFERENCE POWERS: The game will pit the third-placed teams in the Eastern and Western Conferences against one another. Both are considered legitimate MLS Cup contenders and will want to win this one, not only to underline those credentials but because three points could move them into first place in their respective conferences.

  • JEKYLL OR HYDE: FC Dallas were on the wrong end of a 4-0 blowout the last time they stepped on the field, and are eager to bounce back. The question is, however, whether we'll see the team that has won five games in impressive fashion this year, or the one that's been blown out three times.

  • ATOMIC ANT: TFC's Sebastian Giovinco continues to terrorize defenses, and will be aiming to make an impact in front of the home fans when he goes up against Dallas' defense. Giovinco has six goals and three assists in eight games this year, and has scored in three of TFC's last four matches.

  • DYNAMIC COLOMBIAN: On the other end, the exciting Fabian Castillo will attempt to get FCD back to winning ways after the club's subpar performance in last week's 4-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls on national TV.
