2016 Team of the Week (Wk 8): Toronto FC beat up on rivals in 401 Derby

2016 Team of the Week - DL

For the second straight season, Toronto FC have started their season with a long road trip.

While they were able to collect nine points in eight games last season, TFC have already exceeded that point total with one game to go. Their latest win came on Saturday, when they defeated the Montreal Impact 2-0 in the 401 Derby. Sebastian Giovinco led the way for Toronto, scoring both of their goals.

Michael Bradley and Drew Moor put in strong defensive performances against a team that started Didier Drogba and Ignacio Piatti, helping the visitors keep a clean sheet.
