HOW ACQUIRED: Signed with MLS as a Generation adidas player following the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and landed in San Jose after a weighted lottery on Jan. 26, 2011.

After four seasons of limited action in backup duty, Bingham started all 34 regular season games for the Quakes in the 2015 season. He finished fourth in the league with 105 saves, and earned a call up to the Senior National team as a result. Bingham will hope to build on his breakout campaign in 2016, and help the Quakes return to the playoffs.

INTERNATIONAL: Bingham was called into the 2016 January Camp for the Senior National team, and earned his first cap in the 1-0 victory over Canada.

COLLEGE: Had eight shutouts in 20 matches as the starting goalkeeper at California in 2010, where he led Cal to a 14-2-4 record and a spot in the final eight of the 2010 NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament. Bingham was NSCAA All-America as a junior, posting a 0.77 goals-against average as a junior. He was all-Pac-10 Second Team in his sophomore season.
