DC United partner with Tinder to create Swipe-Right-Night on Friday | SIDELINE

DC united celebrate a goal

D.C. United are hoping that you swipe right to connect with the team and fellow fans on Friday night.

The club has announced that it has partnered with Tinder, the dating mobile app, to create Swipe-Right-Night on Friday for its meeting with New York City FC (7 pm ET, UniMas). The organization is hoping to more personally connect with the hundreds of thousands of people in the Metro D.C. area that use the app.

Users will be able to match with D.C. United by swiping right on the app--watch out for the graphic below. That'll instantly provide a message with a link for discounted tickets to Friday's game.

Making the deal even sweeter? There will be 48,000 square feet of field-level party space for the Tinder locals, an open bar happy hour from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and classic tailgate games like giant beer pong and cornhole. Oh, there's also field-level access to watch Friday night's Eastern Conference showdown.

It all sounds like a really good time, so D.C. fans, you know what to do--get to swiping!
