Columbus Crew SC and the Chicago Fire meet in the back end of their home-and-home series over a five-day span when the Eastern Conference clubs face off Sunday afternoon at Mapfre Stadium before an ESPN2 audience. Crew SC won on the road for the first time this season, scoring the game’s only goal for a victory Wednesday evening at Toyota Park. The victory moved Crew SC into second place in the division, now nine points ahead of the Fire, who sit at the foot of the East standings.
